Get to know the photographer
Wedding and Portrait Photographer
Hi, I’m Taylee — a Dayton local wedding and portrait photographer with a heart for capturing life’s most meaningful moments. Photography to me is so much more than just a job; it’s something I genuinely love. Being trusted to document some of the biggest, most joy-filled moments in people’s lives is truly an honor and brings me so much happiness.
When I’m not behind the camera, you can usually find me spending time with my family, wandering through TJ Maxx, or singing worship music in my living room (not great, but I do love to jam out).
I believe that while it’s important to love your photographer’s work, it’s just as important to genuinely enjoy the person you’re working with—especially on your wedding day. Your photographer is by your side for about 90% of the day, so feeling comfortable and truly vibing with them matters. My goal is for us to work together, have fun, and create images that feel natural, joyful, and authentically you.
“The biggest moments in life aren’t meant to be posed—they’re meant to be lived, felt, and remembered.”
Becoming a mother has completely transformed the way I see the world and, in turn, the way I approach photography. Motherhood has slowed me down and opened my eyes to the quiet, fleeting moments that hold so much meaning—the ones that often go unnoticed but are truly the most beautiful. It has deepened my creativity and my desire to capture life as it genuinely unfolds, full of emotion, connection, and love. Through motherhood, I’ve learned to see the full beauty in life, and that perspective allows me to document other people’s stories with greater intention, heart, and appreciation for every season they’re in.
I picked up a camera for the first time when I was 17 years old, back in high school, never imagining how deeply photography would become part of my life. Now, as a 28-year-old mom, that passion has grown alongside me through every season. Years of experience have taught me how to anticipate moments before they happen—finding beauty in the small, in-between details while also capturing the big, joy-filled milestones that deserve to be remembered forever. Photography isn’t just something I do; it’s something I’ve grown with, learned through, and poured my heart into every step of the way.
